I noticed today that birds are starting to collect bits and pieces to use to build their nests. I saw this idea some time ago and thought the kids would like it.
1. Screw up a ball of bendable wire
2. Push little bits of thread, fabric, twigs, thinly cut card and paper into the wire ball
3. Hang in a tree for the birds to come and use to build their nests
