this appeals to me

My friend gave this to me for Christmas and when I took it out of the box I had no idea what it was.

She then demonstrated and I was hooked. The kids love it too, they don't need any encouragement to eat fruit but if you knew of a child that did- this would be the tool!

Its suction pad holds it onto your bench (we have wooden benches and because it doesn't stick well to that we use the slab of marble). You push an apple onto the spikes and it peels and cores the apple as you turn the handle.

When it's finished you end up with a peeled and cored apple that looks like a spring, our kids now ask for 'springy apples'.
