painting today

A 'yellow bird dinosaur', a 'robot' and 'the inside of a pyramid'.

We've been doing lots of this sort of thing in the afternoon lately- in that 3pm- 5pm slot when I would normally turn on the tv while I make dinner. Today we used egg trays as paint pots and used up some of my Resene test pots and nearly finished paint tubes. I find the big glass vase good for water as it's less likely to tip. Today I taught them how to rinse their brush and wipe it on a cloth when they want to change paint colours. We have an almost never ending supply of cloths as I washed the napkins we used for our wedding and keep a bag of them handy.
