kids websites

Occasionally, I'll let the kids have 20 minutes on my computer- they're only 3 and 4 afterall...

Super Why is an Emmy-nominated Kids TV series that's on channel 44 ( Nick Jnr). We t- box each episode and play them some time between 4-6 most days. Here's some info off the Nick Jnr web site:

"Preschoolers who haven't yet been introduced to superheroes Alpha Pig, Wonder Red, Princess Presto, and Super Why will be fascinated by their respective gifts of alphabet power, word power, spelling power, and the power to read. They'll eagerly accept the invitation to join the team as Super You, with the power to help. Young audiences will find these animated adventures eye-opening, and will be inspired to learn to read when they see firsthand the power of words to literally transform a negative situation into a positive one."

The Wiggles- I just love them and the real yellow shirt man Greg is coming back!

My friend recommended this one, it's one you pay for but you get a 2 week free trial which my 4 year old is loving, again- here's some info off their site.

"Reading eggs learning to read interesting and engaging for kids, with great online reading games and activities. And it really works! Children love the games, songs, golden eggs and other rewards which, along with feeling proud of their reading, really motivate children to keep exploring and learning."
