I like this approach to painting. Since the squiggle is just a continuous swirly line the kids experiment with colour a bit more. As a rule they tend to paint using the colours the subjects are in 'real life' - especially our girl.

Yes! I Love this! it used to be one of my favourite types of "art" as a kid and I've encouraged my girls with these types of picture making alot!
