some christmas craft

I LOVE Christmas, so much so that I've found that my enthusiasm tends to annoy other people!

Here's a little diy I found on the web and adapted to get you all christmassy. We're going to give ours away to people for their tree : ). You just use pins to push small square pieces of scrap material into a polystyrene ball ( $2 for a pack of 6 at 2cheap).

Here's ours, we added some sequins and a bell to the top.

We're going to make these too- cover top of ball in pva glue and dip the it in glitter. Poke a piece if wire right through the ball from the bottom to the top. At the top, thread on a red bead for a cherry and twist the wire. At the bottom, bend the wire so it sits close to the ball surface and then glue on a cup cake case. Sweet.
